Abruptum/In Umbra Maliitae Ambularo In Aeternum In Triumpho Tenebraum/Deathlike Silence Productions/1994 CD Review

Abruptum where a 2 piece band from Sweden that played a slow form of black metal that mixed in drone and noise elements to this music and this is a review of their 1994 album "In Umbra Malitiaj Ambularo" which was released by Deathlike Silence Productions.

Drums are mostly slow beats with no fast playing or blast beats, while the keyboards have a very dark sound that gives the music an evil edge, as for the violin when it is used it has a very noisy and avant garde sound.

Guitars are all slow riffing while the vocals are tortured screams about Satanism, pain, and torture, as for the production on this recording it has a very dark sound that captures all of the instruments and vocals.

In my opinion Abruptum where a very good band that was very original for their time and if you are a true fan  of  black  metal,  you already know who they are. RECOMMENDED BUY.
